Shelley is highly motivated to contribute to sustainable and active ways of transport. During her work she mainly focusses on bicycle policies, bicycle stimulation, (social)innovation, behavior, education and safety. She believes in the value of participatory processes when aiming for behavior or institutional change. She is goal-oriented, in a creative and pragmatic manner. Shelley has experience with speaking at (inter)national congresses, organization of (interactive)sessions and workshops.
She has a background in Geography and Urban Planning: MSc in Environment and Society Studies (Radboud University), MSc in European Spatial Planning and Environmental Policy (Cardiff University) and a geography teachers’ degree.
