Last week, DCE exhibited at VELOBerlin! Together with a group of Dutch Cycling Embassy-participants, a huge orange pavilion was realized as part of the Dutch Cycling Embassy-Roadshow.

This Roadshow intents to visit a number of bike shows in the surrounding countries in close collaboration with the DCE-network. The Dutch Cycling Pavilion at VELOBerlin featured a variety of our DCE participants and some of their products. A few highlights included a number of bicycle parking systems produced by Falco, the wooden bike developed by Bough Bikes and the four wheeled bicycle developed by 4Wieler. Other participating exhibitors in the pavilion were Ring-Ring®, a platform that rewards cyclists for their cycled kilometers and Lumiguide, which developed an innovative system which can track where parking spots are available and guides people in the streets to the empty places with digital displays through the city.

Part of VELOBerlin was the International Cargo Bike Festival, organized by DCE-participant Jos Sluijsmans from

Many different exhibitors showed their newest cargo bikes and related products during the show, besided the presentations and workshops which were organized during the festival. An impression of VELOBerlin can be found via this link.
